Prepare the white base
Spread a thin layer of thick cream over the entire surface of the dough, leaving a small border free. Season with a pinch of fine salt and a twist of freshly ground pepper. This white base adds sweetness and enhances the flavors of the truffle without masking their delicacy.
Add the topping according to the chosen product
Evenly distribute pieces of mozzarella over the cream. Then, adjust the preparation according to the truffle ingredient used: if you are using 1 to 2 teaspoons of Plantin summer truffle paste, add it in small touches on the white base before baking to diffuse its aroma throughout the pizza; if you are using 10 g of Plantin summer truffle carpaccio, place some before baking and reserve the rest for finishing; finally, if you are using a small fresh Plantin summer truffle, set it aside and add it only after baking, in thin slices or shavings.
Bake the pizza
