Preparation
Prepare the pumpkin
Wash the pumpkin thoroughly, remove the seeds, and cut it into even wedges.
Season
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large skillet. Place the pumpkin wedges in the skillet and sauté for a few minutes on each side until lightly browned.
Cook covered
Lower the heat, add a few sprigs of thyme, season with salt and pepper, then cover the skillet. Let it cook on low heat for about 25 to 30 minutes, turning the wedges occasionally, until the pumpkin is tender.
Add the truffle butter
At the end of cooking, add small dollops of truffle butter to the warm wedges so that it melts gently.
Plate
Arrange the pumpkin wedges on the plates and add fresh Burgundy truffle slices at the last moment, on the still warm pumpkin.
